Here is the operational panel with Freebie notes closed.  The LED's at each switch location will operate the corresponding switch on the layout.   Further, the Switch Machine toggles just below Williamson will also operate the switch machine on the layout.  Each toggle has a number that matches to a location on the schematic.  I thought the switch machine toggles where cool, but everyone uses the LED's located on the schematic.  So, if I need more space on the screen, the toggles will be the first thing to go.

Along the track you will notice single and double headed signals.  The Dispatcher must be aware of the direction of the train as the signal on the engineers right will reflect the condition  for a train heading in either direction.  I will be adding a North arrow on the screen to assist the Dispatcher.  Williamson is  the South end and Deepwater is the North end of the railroad.

Signal protocol is a single headed signal only indicates block occupancy for the next block.  Double headed signals indicate block and turnout.   Top head is block occupancy and bottom head is turnout position where Green is normal or through and Red is reverse or diverging route.

A yellow signal indicates that the signal or turnout has not been initialized and the Panel does not know its current state.

Future automation will occur in Deepwater and the branch to Clifftop will remain Dark territory.
