Deepwater Step by Step (1 of 42)

This is the begining of Deepwater W.Va.  The track plan is based on John Olsens' Back Alley & Wharf,  featured in the Feb. 1983 Model Railroader.  When I began this version of the CVRR in June 2003, this was the test module to see if  I could handlay track.   This photo is from the fall of 2003.   And yes, I really enjoyed hand laying track and now the entire Railroad, except staging, is handlaid. (code 100 mainline and code 83 everywhere else.)
